Test Principle of the NGAL Mouse ELISA

This is a sandwich ELISA performed in microwells coated with a rat monoclonal antibody against mouse neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin. Bound NGAL is detected with another rat monoclonal antibody labeled with biotin, and the assay develops with horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-conjugated streptavidin and a color-forming substrate.
