A Little History About How Immundiagnostik, Inc. Came to Be

Since 1986 Immundiagnostik AG (IDK) has been committed to developing innovative diagnostic solutions distributed in over 70 countries to help create a world in which diseases are diagnosed and treated in time.

To support this vision,┬áOwner┬áFranz Paul Armbruster┬áand Executive Director of International Sales Karl Florian Wintgens┬áunderstood┬áthat┬ámore research and clinical laboratories needed access to ImmundiagnostikÔÇÖs┬átrustworthy products. Thus, North American subsidiary Immundiagnostik, Inc. was created in┬á2018 in┬ápartnership with┬áowners┬áJennifer Mayes and Terry Fisher.┬á

Together with support from their colleagues around the globe, Jen and Terry are helping make the IDK vision a reality by collaborating with leading research and diagnostic laboratories to help improve clinical care.

A Note from Jen & Terry

Welcome to and thank you for your interest in learning more about our company!

After working in the biotech industry for over 20 years, we both observed work-life balance was nearly nonexistent at most companies, while employee turnover rates and stress were high. On top of that, profits always seemed to prevail over doing the right thing for people.

We took the opportunity to create Immundiagnostik, Inc. not only to help improve clinical care around the globe but also to create a company that we would want to work for ourselves.

Our guiding principle as people and an organization is to always do the right thing. This would not be possible without the right people on our team.

All of us at Immundiagnostik have┬áa passion for helping others and building genuine, long-term relationships.┬áWe know our strengths and weaknesses, and we challenge each otherÔÇÖs perspectives, while always doing what is best for our customers.

Read on to learn more about the awesome people behind our brand.

Jamie Bolduc, Technical Applications Scientist

“My life is a science experiment.”┬á

With a personal interest in public health and epidemiology, Jamie Bolduc knew early on that a career in medicine was not for her. Being the caring and compassionate person she is, she felt medical lab science would be a space where she could pursue her passion for learning how science can help people.

Jamie has a degree in Medical Laboratory Science and received her board certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology. Before joining our team, she was a Technical Applications Scientist at Zeus Scientific, Inc. and worked as a Serologist at Mayo Clinic.

With her extensive background and wealth of knowledge, Jamie now helps us provide top-notch technical support┬áand assay validation┬áservices to the lab professionals we serve as our Technical Applications Scientist.ÔÇ»She often jokes her life is a science experiment and has become┬áan┬áin-house mentor to all of us here at IDK, Inc.┬áhelping┬áour team┬áfurther understand the intricacies of clinical laboratory science.

When Jamie is not assisting our customers, you can find her hanging out with her family or giving back to the community through charity work for Autism Speaks, New Hampshire Families in Transition, and the American Cancer Society. She loves to travel and is always up for trying something new.

Gretchen Hubert, Executive Assistant

“It’s not about what you do, it’s about who you are as a person.”┬á

As a child, she traveled the US for over a decade to compete as a dance roller skater. As a young professional she was determined to work her way up the corporate ladder despite not having a college education. Today, Gretchen truly believes it is not about your education, but who you are that determines your success.

Being our Executive Assistant, she is a self-proclaimed Perfectionist who thrives on the art of organization and developing processes that allow everyone to work as a cohesive unit.

Outside of the office, Gretchen is a Weight Watchers Guide, sharing the tools she gained through her own weight loss journey with others. Her many years of experience in foodservice influenced her passion for cooking, cuisine, and wine. She loves to be at the beach or home with her husband, Peter of 25 years, and their two children. Gretchen looks forward to traveling more when their nest is empty.

In 2021, Gretchen has a goal of becoming more fluent in the scientific research and clinical diagnostic industries we serve at IDK, Inc.

Noelle Hurley, Marketing Communications Manager

“I’m not a marketer. I’m a communicator.”┬á

There was a period in Noelle HurleyÔÇÖs career when she got so tired of Marketing, she went to Grad School for Psychology to become a health and wellness coach. Upon graduating, however, she came to realize it┬áwas not┬áthe field of Marketing leaving a bad taste in her mouth, it was the deceitful messaging she observed within the life science industry.

Since then, Noelle has committed herself to ethical, honest marketing practices and developing authentic messaging from credible sources.

As our Marketing Communications Manager, Noelle appreciates the opportunity to combine her┬áenthusiasm for┬ámarketing with her┬álove of┬áhealth and wellness. She describes herself as a communicator rather than a marketer. She is passionate about listening to othersÔÇÖ needs and having genuine conversations to develop┬ápurposeful┬ácontent that comes from the heart.

In her spare time, Noelle is typically on some adventure with her husband┬á–┬ásnowboarding in the winter or hiking and camping with their dog in warmer weather. With no plans to procreate, she looks forward to traveling the world and adding to their fur family. Noelle is a lifetime student of mindfulness┬áand practices┬ámeditation and yoga daily. Someday Noelle hopes to write a book of memoirs of her life lessons and experience.

Matt Romano, Logistics Manager

“I believe in doing what’s right, even when no one is watching.”

Originally from Tacoma, Washington, Matt Romano credits his father for his own strong work ethic and understanding the importance of pursuing what makes him happy. He served in the Iraq War in 2004 where he learned first-hand that the true meaning of integrity is doing the right thing, even when no one is watching.

Like his co-workers, Matt is a firm believer in the ÔÇťWork hard, play hardÔÇŁ life motto. At the office, he diligently fulfills our customersÔÇÖ orders and maintains inventory to help ensure their projects continue running smoothly. Matt is also a self-taught guitar player who enjoys playing music, woodworking, coding & web development, traveling, and fishing in his spare time.
